Church Disaster Planning

This church related disaster plan is managerial in nature. It is not a special operating procedure that attempts to account for every contingency and then list exhaustive steps that must be taken in reaction to each contingency. It is simply a guide that covers basic information and actions that should be considered or acted upon, especially by our Executive Council. In turn, the plan helps to ensure that the congregation is taken care of and places the Executive Council and the Church Council in a better position to deal with the inevitable unforeseen circumstances that will occur in times of crisis. The plan places the church on a stronger foundation from which it is better prepared to respond to community, state, national, and international disasters.
