Together, We Serve

Our Church: Using our individual gifts, including teaching, leading, serving and the ministries of music we can help to make worship more meaningful and to be supportive of our church.

Music opportunities include choirs for ages five through adult, special instrumental and vocal ensembles, the Grace Orchestra and our Power of Grace Band. There are also opportunities to help make our worship services more meaningful by serving as an usher, greeter, assisting minister, communion assistant, cantor, acolyte, crucifer, teller, altar guild server, cookie provider or information station host.

Other church service activities include recording and delivering audio tapes for shut-ins, providing and/or serving meals for funerals, performing miscellaneous office duties, telephoning members for different events, providing child care for special church occasions or serving on one of ten council committees.

Our Community: Grace reaches out with God's love to all people through events such as blood drives, serving meals for the homeless, collecting clothing and food for the needy, Habitat through Humanity and Hearts and Hammers. Grace has a partnership with Lutheran Social Services' Friends of New Parents Program in which many volunteers have been involved through the annual angel tree, annual Thanksgiving and Christmas parties, baby shower and other donations.
